Accessibility Statement

Our commitment

Loveleen Sari Palace is committed to ensuring that our website is accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe digital access matters as much as the physical welcome we extend at our atelier in Artesia, California — and we're actively working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.

What we've done

  • Built the site using semantic HTML (proper headings, landmarks, lists)

  • Provided alt text for product images

  • Ensured strong text-to-background contrast across the site

  • Made the site keyboard-navigable, with visible focus indicators

  • Respect the user's "reduce motion" preference for animations

  • Used scalable units so text can be resized in the browser without breaking the layout

  • Labeled form fields and provided accessible status messages

  • Used Shopify's Dawn theme as a foundation, which is built with accessibility in mind

Known limitations

We're a small family business and we're learning as we go. The following areas are in progress:

  • Some product images on older collection pages may still need updated alt text

  • Embedded third-party content (maps, Instagram embeds, payment processors) may not fully meet WCAG AA — we're working with these vendors

Need help, or hit a barrier?

Our ongoing process

  • We test new pages and features with keyboard navigation and screen-reader tools before publishing

  • All staff who write product descriptions and upload photos are trained on writing useful alt text

  • We welcome feedback from customers and from accessibility professionals
