For weddings, avoid white and black, which are associated with mourning in many South Asian traditions, and avoid red if you aren't the bride. For Diwali or garba, brighter and bolder is welcome — think jewel tones and mirror work. Come in and we'll walk you through it — usually 20 minutes and you're out the door with the right thing.
Honest answer: no. We don't stock the classic day-of red bridal lehenga, and we don't want to waste your time if that's what you're after. If red is a must, we'd rather point you to shops that specialize. But if you're flexible on color — burgundy, wine, plum, emerald, navy, ivory, or gold — we have hundreds of stunning bridal options and would love to show you.
A sari is a single draped length of fabric worn over a fitted blouse and petticoat. A lehenga is a two-piece: fitted blouse plus long skirt, often with a dupatta (scarf). A salwar kameez is a tunic worn over loose trousers — usually the most relaxed of the five. A sharara is a tunic worn over wide, flared, floor-length pants. A gharara is similar but the pants are fitted through the knee and flare from there.
Most guests spend $100 to $200 on a complete outfit. Sarees start at $150, salwar kameez from $100, lehengas from $200. Kids' outfits from $50. We flex up and down. No pressure, no upselling.

Yes — we sell almost everything à la carte. Petticoats, sari falls, dupattas, skirts, and blouses (fitted individually). Fabric and material for custom tailoring or turbans. Artificial jewelry, bangles, tikkas, and other accessories. Come in whether you need a whole outfit or just one missing piece — no minimum, no pressure.
Many customers are in and out in 20 minutes. Brides shopping for a full bridal set may want longer, or a follow-up visit. We're an efficient in-and-out store — not a two-hour bridal appointment atelier — and we won't rush you either way.

We help most people find the right size directly on the floor. For custom alterations beyond that, we can point you to a trusted local tailor.
Not really. We're an in-person store — the whole point of visiting is trying things on. If you're driving in from out of town, DM us ahead so we can set aside what you might like.
