Come in before your event and we will drape it properly. $20 a person.
$20 per person, per drape
Bring your own sari or dupatta — it does not matter where you bought it, or whether you bought it from us at all. Inherited, ordered online, borrowed from your mother: all fine.
Message us on Instagram first so we can put you in the diary. Draping takes real time and attention, and on a Saturday afternoon in October we cannot always do it on the spot. A quick message means we are ready when you arrive.
Who this is for
- You have never worn a sari. Six yards of fabric and a packet of pins is genuinely hard the first time, and watching a video at 7am on the day of the wedding is not the moment to learn.
- You are not Indian and you have been invited to something. This is a large part of what we do, and nobody will make you feel silly about it.
- You own a sari you never wear because getting it right takes an hour you do not have.
- Your dupatta will not sit properly — with a lehenga or a heavy anarkali, how the dupatta is pinned changes the whole outfit.
- You are the mother of the bride and you have eleven other things to do that morning.
What to bring
- The sari or dupatta itself.
- The blouse and petticoat you are wearing with it. A sari cannot be draped properly without a petticoat to pleat into — if you do not have one, we sell them for $15.
- The shoes you plan to wear. Length is set from the shoe, and this is the single most common thing people forget.
- A photo of the look you want if you have one. There are many ways to drape a sari and it helps to know which you are after.
If something is missing we probably have it: petticoats $15, sari falls $3, dupattas and blouses sold separately with no minimum.
Being straight with you about what this is
This is a proper drape by someone who has done it for years, in the shop, so you can walk out wearing it or take it home already pinned.
It is not a bridal glam session. We are not hair and makeup, and we are not a mobile service — we cannot come to your hotel or the venue on the morning. For a full bridal party being got ready on site, that is a drapist or a stylist, and we list several we trust on our recommended vendors page.
If you want to learn rather than be draped, say so — we are happy to show you how to pleat and pin so you can do it yourself next time. That is free.
Where to come
18507 Pioneer Boulevard, Artesia, CA 90701, in the middle of Little India. Free parking in our own lot directly behind the store.
Open Tuesday to Sunday, closed Mondays. Tuesday to Friday from 12:15 PM, Saturday and Sunday from 11:15 AM, and we close at 6:45 PM. Come earlier in the day if you can — late afternoons are the busiest.

Send us a message with the date of your event and what you need draped, and we will tell you when to come in. A person answers, usually the same day.
