Shopping with your mom or dad?
You don’t have to choose their outfit online. Bring them in, bring the invitation, and tell us what they like—we’ll help them compare a few options in person.
- Start with their preferences. Favourite colours, sleeves, coverage and how dressed up they want to feel.
- Check the fit together. Try sitting, walking and raising the arms. Bring the shoes they plan to wear if possible.
- Put the look together. We’ll explain the pieces and help with the dupatta, blouse or optional vest.
Booking on their behalf? Include the number of shoppers and any outfit requests. One appointment covers up to two shoppers; book an additional appointment for each extra pair.

The coverage you want
Ask for sleeves, longer tops or a higher neckline. We’ll show you what’s available without assuming you want a plain outfit.
Comfort for the whole event
Compare fabric weight, waistbands and room to move. For ceremonies with floor seating, check that you can sit comfortably.
Help with the dress code
Bring the invitation. We’ll help you navigate the ceremony, reception and your role in the celebration.
Try it on before you decide.
You don’t need to know your Indian clothing size first. We’ll help you compare the fit in our fitting rooms. Sizes and availability vary by style; any alterations have a separate cost and timeline, which we’ll confirm before you buy.
A sari needs a well-fitting blouse and the right underskirt as well as the drape. If you prefer help, ask about our sari and dupatta draping service.
For men, a kurta pajama can be worn on its own. A Nehru vest is optional; a sherwani is generally a more formal choice for the groom or wedding party.
Unsure about colours? Bring the invite.
Family traditions and the event matter more than a blanket rule. Red may be reserved for the bride, and some ceremonies avoid white or black. Black kurta pajamas can work well for a sangeet or evening reception when the hosts’ dress code allows. We’ll help you choose for your specific celebration.
